Region Midtjylland believes that the EUX project goal to develop an open communication platform is a sound starting point from which the Region, as a public body, can develop its communication potential - both internally and externally with the public.

Through the application of Open Source IP telephony within the Psychiatric services in Århus county, Region Midtjylland has harvested many positive experiences with Open Source IP telephony, both with respect to functionality and economy.

Magenta ApS. The European network secretariat is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and will be the main coordinating body of the EUX network. Being based in Copenhagen, the secretariat will act as the link between Scandinavia and Europe.

International coordination of work and information on the project will be the focal point of the secretariat.

The network secretariat will be the face of the EUX project towards corporate sponsors and government- and EU-based grants.
