The open source community has in the recent years made progress in the effort of making an enterprise grade Voice over IP system.

We think that the time has come to let the old telephony systems melt into the IP networks of large corporations and government institutions. By using the intrastructure of existing networks new and better servicesrelated to corporate communication can be achieved.

By creating an integrated platform for communication, companies will benefit from the possibilities of integrating the voice and video communication with a wide array of productivity systems. The EUX project will provide an open framework to integrate with systems like calendars, customer relation systems, archives and journalling etc.

Built on open standards and published as open source software the Enterprise Unified Exchange will provide new possibilities and better use of infrastructure to take communication to the next level.
